No slip. Sloppy rag-smoothing of body and shoulder/collar.
Wheelmade. Very sloppy execution in general for the vessel and especially the preserved handle which is askew and has wide messy attachments. Cylindrical body has wide striations or slightly indented bands in several places down its length.
Phoenician transport amphora/jar also known as a torpedo or cylindrical jar/amphora, Gjerstad's Plain White V-VI Ware. Cylindrical torpedo-shaped body with a pointed v-shaped base, pronounced carinated shoulder/collar extending beyond the line of the body, short vertical rim with slightly everted lip, circular mouth; 2 opposing small loop handles made from a roll of clay, slightly flattened in section, attached to carination and ending high on the body.
Dark orange clay with fine black and white inclusions, large pebble in handle.
