DescriptionSmall figure of a crocodile atop a shrine. Could be the fierce Nile god Sobek, whose name can be represented as a hieroglyph of a crocodile atop a shrine. Sobek symbolizes pharaonic power, military, and also healing/protection. The healing and protective aspects of the god were popular in Late Period - gained solar attributes and became Sobek-Ra, as seen here with the solar disk on the crocodile head.
