DescriptionBuff clay with brown slip. On discus a lion turned to the left. Flat base, slightly raised with groove . Comparanda: Rosenthal and Sivan 1978:30 #101. Broneer Type XXII - first century CE, Type is defined by volutes tapering towards the front and manufactured in Augustan and early Tiberian times.
